Reheating Instructions

Pizza

Whole Pies

Preheat oven to 500° F for at least 10 mins.

Set a pizza stone in the bottom of your oven, or a cookie sheet or upside-down sheet tray on the middle rack of the oven and wait 15 mins.

Place pizza directly on stone or tray. Cook for 3-6 minutes, or until cheese is bubbling and crust is crispy.

Pizza by the Piece

Heat a non-stick pan at medium high for 5-7 minutes.

Throw the pizza in the pan until the cheese is melty and the bottom crispy, about 3-5 minutes.

Pasta

Microwave

Add ½ tsp water to pasta, cover with a paper towel and heat for 45 seconds on 60% power.

Stir and microwave for 30 more seconds at 100% power, still covered. If not hot enough, stir and microwave for another 30 seconds uncovered.

Stove-top

Heat a non-stick pan on medium-medium high heat.

Cook pasta with 1 tablespoon water (or milk or cream for cream pastas), covered, until heated through, stirring occasionally.

Salads

Don’t reheat salads.

Hersh’s Batched Cocktails

With the exception of the Poinsettia, our cocktails contain added water, as though we had shaken or stirred them for you. Refrigerate, shake a little before pouring and serve over ice.
For the Poinsettia, top 2oz of cranberry sage syrup-orange liqueur mix with the accompanying bubbles.

Holiday Roast Heating Instructions

Lamb Shoulder

Bring to room temperature two hours before cooking. Pre-heat oven to 425. Place lamb in roasting pan and heat in oven for 25 to 35 minutes until it is tender and the fat cap is nicely browned.

Porchetta

Bring to room temperature two hours before cooking. Pre-heat oven to 450. Place porchetta in roasting pan and heat 20 to 30 minutes until outer skin is browned and crispy. Snip string with scissor, slice and serve.

Roast Turkey Breast

Bring to room temperature two hours before cooking. Pre-heat oven to 375. Place turkey in roasting pan and heat in oven 25 to 30 minutes, until warmed through (about 135 degrees on a thermometer). Heat gravy in a sauce pan until barely simmering. SLice turkey and pour gravy on top.

New York Strip Roast

Bring to room temperature two hours before cooking. Pre-heat oven to 450. For medium rare (recommended), place strip loin in roasting pan and heat in oven 20 to 25 minutes until outside is nicely caramelized. Cook about an additional 7-8 minutes for each temperature level above medium rare. If you have a thermometer, medium rare will be at about 118 and medium will be about 125. If you want it more done than that, pour yourself a Manhattan and ask yourself what you’re doing with a Roseda Farms strip loin. Let rest 4-6 minutes before slicing.

Cavatelli, Rapini, Squash, Kale, Beans and Potatoes

Bring to room temperature before heating. Bake uncovered in 450 degree oven until heated through.

Biscuits

Bring to room temperature before heating. Lightly warm in oven to taste.
